What a positive and productive day. A lot can be said for plannin. As it was drummed into me in school.... Fail to plan is a plan to fail.

I got the cell studied. It has finally clicked with me...after how many years. I still have to figure out how mitosis works tho, that should be fun..

5 hours study a week they said. One down, four to go and also 5 eye and lip cleanses to do. But keeping on top of things.

A Day in the Life of a Trainee Beautician...

Soo.....

I started my Beautician course yesterday and it has to be said, it is gonna be a TOUGH few months indeed. Not enough days in the week. I work 5 days a week in a shop, doing makeup and cardmaking on the side at the mo. I now have to squeeze in a full day of school on a Saturday and a day every fortnight at least of work experience in a salon. HELLLLLLP!

 

It will definitely be worth it in the end. Its just getting there....

 

I also still need to buy my kit and books aaaaahh!

 

Can't wait to get stuck in though.... onwards and upwards!

 

 

So today I am totally taking advantage of the calm before the storm and having a lazy Sunday while I still can. Have to study the cell, do 5 polishes and 5 eye and lip cleanses before Saturday but sssshh lazy day first!

Soooo..... this is my very first attempt at shrink plastic.

Whimsy stamp - Silver fairy

 

 

StazOn jet black ink

Crayola colouring pencils
Hole punch
Heat tool

The half finished result. Have to wait on my varnish and such.

 

Am thinking of maybe keyrings, bag charms, charm bracelets, pendants and Christmas tree decorations. Will be a very busy lady. Will post the finished products as soon as.

Lazy Sunday

Makeup free day on the couch in my sweatpants and hoodie catching up on the weeks soaps.

Today I have decided to give my face a lazy sunday too. Gave it a good cleanse with my Simple Foaming Cleanser and applied my Simple Radiance Brightening Moisturiser.

My favourite cleanser ever. My face is very sensitive but this stuff is amazing. Would gladly wear just this every day. Leaves my skin so soft and radiant xx

Thank Crunchie its Friday

What a loooooong week. Thank crunchie its nearly over. Was so busy with makeup with it being halloween and all. And am absolutely crippled with back pain but shall battle on and look forward to a weekend full of crafting xx

Hart of Dixie Halloween

caught up on my tv shows from across the pond tonight and have to say i thoroughly enjoyed the hart of dixie halloween episode. George Tucker dressed as a fireman. What's not to like?! I think I'm starting to see a pattern developing here with the whole fireman thing lol. Fell in love with Wade a little bit in this episode. I want a Wade Kinsella. And i love Zoe Harte. Major girl crush alert xx

Chicago Fire

Ok so watched the pilot episode of Chicago Fire tonight. To be honest I'm not really sure what to make of it. There doesn't seem to be a storyline. I thought it would be similar to Criminal Minds or Csi wherein they'd focus on a case or two but they just seemed to be rescuing people left, right and centre for the hour. Will be watching next week purely for the fact I get to see Taylor Kinney in a fireman suit all dirty and sweaty.

November

Tis november. I have really abandoned this poor bloggy woggy. Have downloaded the app for my smartphone so mite actually start blogging. It will be a mix of randomness, from make up and book reviews to film reviews to giving out to new foods i've discovered i'm allowed eat. And some crafting ideas and stuff :-D

Oh poor neglected blog. I really need to start showing you some affection. Haven't had time for crafting etc., been so busy with work and my course. Lots of things to come tho. Have decided to start selling jewellery so gonna start off with earrings to see how things go. Have lots of things ordered so it should be a lot of fun.

Have been reading 'Memoirs of a Geisha'. I picked it up by accident in the library and at the mo is like 3 weeks overdue. Oopps sorry :( Its an amazing book. Not even half way through yet but its very well written. Go buy, borrow or steal if you haven't read it already. I just find the whole Geisha thing very fascinating. Will do up a review when I've finished it :)

Doodlebugs

Coming next shall be papercraft using the brown and black doodlebugs products from Do Crafts. They're 12x12 papers are amazing. Will stick a few pics up tommorrow of them before I deface them. It pains me to use them. I'd rather just let them just sit among my craft supplies to be admired X
